As our new Donor Acquisition Coordinator, you will report to the Donor Acquisition Manager, assisting in managing acquisition programs for World Animal Protection in Canada. Your role will focus on expanding our regular giving supporter base and attracting cash supporters for development appeals.

What will you be doing?
Within the scope of the role, you will be responsible for the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
Functional
•Support the delivery of acquisition programs for Online, Face to Face, Lead Generation, Telemarketing and Direct Mail acquisition programs.
•Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless supporter experience from recruitment and beyond.
•Ensure acquisition activities are consistent with brand guidelines and maintain and enhance the reputation and positioning of World Animal Protection in Canada.
•Analyse activity results and deliver accurate and timely reporting, analysis and ongoing monitoring and evaluation of activities.
•Work collaboratively with the retention and communication team and to ensure appropriate onboarding and transfer of donor stewardship.
•Research and content creation for acquisition program channels incorporating the Power of Animals Comprehensive Campaign.
•Develop and Manage 3rd party programs.
•Support the management of agency relationships to ensure KPIs are met within deadlines and budgets.
•Manages relationships with volunteers (when applicable), including recruitment, training, and monitoring.
Finance
•Support the Manager to deliver efficient and compliant management of the acquisition program budget.
•Produce accurate and timely weekly/monthly reports and support forecasts for acquisition programs to ensure budgets are achieved.
•Process and track vendor invoices.
Organizational
•Will from time to time be required to undertake any other duties that are within the scope of this role.
•Take responsibility for their own health, safety and welfare, comply with H&S policy and procedures, and not act in any way that compromises the safety of themselves, colleagues or the public.
•Required to comply with the organizations policies and procedures.
•Will be required to be in the Toronto office for staff meetings at least twice a year.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who meets the following criteria:
Essential
•Minimum of 2 years fundraising experience within a not-for profit/ charity context.
•Minimum 2 years digital fundraising experience.
•Budgeting Experience with spending and reconciliation.
Essential Key Competencies
•Excellent communication (verbal and written) and analytical skills
•Self-driven to complete tasks, with some supervision.
•Able to analyze data and communicate results to others.
•Comfortable working with diverse teams, with collaborative and positive approach.
•Results-orientated to achieve goals within specified timeline.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Desirable
•Experience with Raisers Edge databases, engaging networks, Adobe.
•Membership in AFP
•Fundraising Certificate or be working towards one.
•Knowledge of animal welfare issues.
•French language skills an asset.
