Interim Finance Director

Salary: The starting salary is £73,251 per annum with the possibility of up to £79,530 based on an assessment of skills and experience at the interview stage

We are seeking an Interim Finance Director to lead our international finance operations during a critical transitional period. As a member of the global senior leadership team, you will play a strategic role in overseeing financial planning and analysis, reporting, and risk management for our UK charity and its subsidiaries.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our finance function, drive process improvements, and support decision-making that aligns with our global mission. You will manage a high-performing team, collaborate with senior stakeholders across our organisation, and ensure we maintain the highest standards of financial compliance and transparency.

World Animal Protection is the global voice for animal welfare, with more than 70 years’ experience campaigning for a world where animals live free from cruelty and suffering.
We have offices in 14 countries and work across 47 countries. We collaborate with local communities, the private sector, civil society and governments to change animals’ lives for the better.
Our goal is to change the way the world works to end animal cruelty and suffering for both wild and farmed animals. Through our global food system strategy, we will end factory farming and create a humane and sustainable food system, that puts animals first.
