World Animal Protection is looking for a Digital Content Officer who will proactively plan content for World Animal Protection for 2023 across our international digital channels.
This is an exciting role for a Digital Content Officer who is looking for autonomy in their role and putting forward their creative ideas to get World Animal Protection message across to a wider audience.

World Animal Protection is the global voice for animal welfare, with more than 70 years’ experience campaigning for a world where animals live free from cruelty and suffering.
We have offices in 12 countries and work across 47 countries. We collaborate with local communities, the private sector, civil society and governments to change animals’ lives for the better.
Our goal is to change the way the world works to end animal cruelty and suffering for both wild and farmed animals. Through our global food system strategy, we will end factory farming and create a humane and sustainable food system, that puts animals first. By transforming the broken systems that fuel exploitation and commodification, we will give wild animals the right to a wild life. Our work to protect animals will play a vital role in solving the climate emergency, the public health crisis and the devastation of natural habitats.
What will you be doing as a Digital Content Officer?
• Responding to quick turnaround campaign briefs
• Responding to reactive briefs
• Coordinating the production of digital content across World Animal Protection’s digital channels
• Scheduling and optimising of content across social media and communities
Who are we looking for?
• Experience of planning, producing, and delivering content for corporate digital platforms and channels. With a focus on developing targeted communications with customers, supporters, or donors in mind.
• Responding to campaign or client requests and gaining the information you need to propose an impactful mixed-media content plan
• Planning and optimizing paid social media campaigns
• Social media management and listening tools, CMS, email marketing software, and Google Analytics
